After a tough and emotional week, it was nice to spend some time with my daughter, Rebecca Muza (Green) today. Shopping, having lunch and coffee. I was thinking tonight about my week and today. This week I said 'goodbye' to some special women, who I cared for as patients. They were mothers, wives, sisters and friends. Some people think we miss our loved ones at the big events like Christmas, and it's true we do. But for those of us who know the loss of someone close, maybe a parent, we will say its in the every day things we miss them the most. It's days like today that become the treasured memories. So some advice from an 'old' nurse, cherish the everyday. Life goes faster than we expect.
